Do you have a band? Are you interested in exposing your band to millions of people across the world and making money at the same time?
Our team can put it in Rock Band.
Red Rock Charters is a team of musicians, gamers, and programmers dedicated to getting your music into Harmonix's best-selling video game, Rock Band. In case you are unfamiliar with Rock Band, let us explain. Rock Band is a multi-player interactive game that lets players play drums, guitar, bass, and vocals to the master recordings of songs by the real bands.
So how does this affect you? Until recently, Harmonix created all the extra downloadable songs and released them weekly on the Rock Band Music Store. They have done a great job and have released over 1,000 songs in just a couple of years. This was true...until the Rock Band Network. Harmonix has now given the same tools that they use to create songs to experienced authors that are willing to put new music into Rock Band. This gives bands not only publicity, but the chance to make money from each song that is bought from the Rock Band Network. This is where Red Rock Charters comes in... The ProcessOur team begins to turn your song into a Rock Band compatible file as soon as we receive your multi-track recordings and worked out all the preliminary details of how we are going to author your song. We begin by mapping out all the tempos and time signatures for the entire song so the track is played at the correct speed and the notes match up with the bars on the track. Once that is completed the team authors the different instruments - guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. At Red Rock Charters we have techs that specialize in each of the different instruments to ensure that each part is authored correctly the first time.
Once the instruments are completed on all of the different difficulties, the techs that authored the song meet to review each other's parts, add overdrive to the song, and play through the song personally until it is ready to be sent out into the Rock Band Network community. Going the Extra MileOnce your song is submitted to the Rock Band Network community, it must undergo two processes to make it to the Rock Band Network Store. The first is playtesting. When your song is in playtesting, other experienced players look at the tracks to find inconsistencies, make suggestions, and help to get your song perfect. Many other companies and authors would simply put the song up for playtesting and wait weeks to get a batch of decent reviews. Here at Red Rock Charters, we actively seek out professional testers to get your song high quality tests right away. This way your song hits the store much faster and gets the best playtests possible.
The second process that your song must pass through is peer review. When your song is in peer review, other players once again look at the tracks. The players are once again looking for inconsistencies and problems in the song, however the players are also looking any other rule-breaking material in the song. Our team once again takes an initiative and actively seeks out reviewers to get your song through peer review as quickly as possible with the best possible reviews. After the FactOnce your song has successfully reached the Rock Band Network store we offer you many different services and ways to promote you band.
